Date 2019-06-27 Hit 1603

The refining industry is investing in low sulfur oil related facilities in order to prepare for the new environmental regulations coming into force in 2020. Hanwha Power Systems recently signed an agreement to supply air compressors for a domestic desulfurization project. The facility under construction produces light crude and low sulfur oil by desulfurizing vacuum residue from the vacuum distillation process with the addition of hydrogen. It will produce 40,000 barrels of low sulfur fuel per day, the largest among Korean oil refineries, once it commences operation. It is meaningful that this is the repeat order from the customer which shows confidence in our equipment. Hanwha Power Systems will continue to provide the optimum solutions for each customer based on its various air and gas compressors for refining and petrochemical applications.
